Our mission
YOGA not only helps to improve flexibility, balance, and general physical fitness; it also helps improve focus, self-regulation, and self–esteem. It is essential to take a break from daily life to focus on yourself and have fun. Our classes are engaging & fun with upbeat music, breathing tips, and simple tools that show that everything we need is already within us ALL!
our founder
Angela has been a teacher for more than 20 years. After earning her master’s degree in education in 2014, she became a Reading Specialist, focused primarily on working with children in need of supplemented instruction, individually and in small groups. In these settings, she noticed that many of her students’ academic struggles coincided with struggles with mood, anxiety, and self-regulation. Angela began addressing these problems through breathing and mindfulness exercises that she had learned through
what was, at that time, a casual yoga practice.
The positive results of introducing of yoga into her teaching strategies was so significant that it prompted her to delve deeper into the practice of yoga and mindfulness by obtaining certifications in both fields in 2020. Since then, Angela has expanded her practice from children in small group academic settings to community centers, early learning centers, and churches, in the process developing rapport with parents, caregivers, and other children’s services professionals, and building stronger communities in
the process.
